ORIGINAL HOT YOGA   60 MINUTES  Also known as Bikram yoga, the original hot yoga is a series of 26 hatha yoga postures, performed in 40°c heat, suitable for new and advanced practitioners alike. It was made popular by Bikram Choudhury.  The 26 and 2 sequence is unlike any other Yoga class. It is a series of twenty-six asana poses designed to scientifically warm and stretch muscles, ligaments, and tendons in the order in which they should be stretched.  The heated room helps to go deeper into the posture and sweat out toxins. Specifically, Bikram Yoga is often referred to as the 26+2 which makes up the 26 same poses and 2 breathing exercises. Most poses are performed twice and they’re typically held between 6-60 seconds depending on the pose.
