HOT YOGA As Leeds Hot Yoga specialists, the dedicated Shadwell studio is fitted with the latest infrared heating systems that mimic the natural heat of the sun. This creates a nurturing, comfortable heat – penetrating deep into your muscles to help you move into deeper stretches earlier, whilst preventing injury. Our general Hot Yoga class is 26 postures & two breathing exercises, practiced at temperatures of up to 42°C with a humidity level of between 40-60%. Hot Yoga is designed to advance your yoga practice and intensify the benefits allowing the body to stretch, detoxify, relieve stress, tone & heal chronic pain.
HOT YOGA HATHA FLOW: There are no sun salutations or vinyasas in this practice, just a strong steady flow from posture to posture with focus on strength, openness, stillness, awareness and breath. It's a slower pace class, so hatha is a great if you're just starting your yoga practice. All this in a hot room to aid with detoxification while also improving your health and overall wellness.
HOT YOGA VINYASA FLOW: Energetic flows and the secrets to balancing: building upper body strength, balance and focus. Learn the alignment of inversions and arm balancing, get fit, and enjoy new challenges. Prepare yourself for friendly "glamour poses" such as Crow, Crane, Dolphin and other fun arm balancing poses. So lets flow, rest and challenge, to get you super strong and as light as air.

The traditional hot yoga class with more alignment, hip opening and upper body and core poses. This motivating class develops alignment while building strength, stamina and flexibility. A great full body workout. Suitable for all ages and levels from the unfit to the experienced. Key benefits: core, upper body, strength and alignment. Discipline, power and focus.
User-friendly but challenging general level class. Hip openers, deep twists, upper body strengtheners, lower body and abdominal toners, this fully rounded workout works 100% of the body. This class is the centre spoke of all the classes and the class they all originate from. Key benefits: upper body, strength, toned bum and abs, grace and fluidity, deep expression of self.
The fix is a super-charged class designed to get you fitter faster when you are high on motivation but low on time. Focus on arms, abs and stamina. Pee First! students are encouraged not to leave the sauna-like room once class begins.

Bring Your Toiletries.
Women are best wearing a close-fitting tank top and/or sports bra. Men a vest/close fitting t-shirt. Avoid oversized t-shirts that may fall down poses like downward facing dog. One-hundred-percent cotton tops are also not ideal since they will absorb sweat and become heavy.
The Certified Yoga instructor will guide and instruct you, always with compassion and respect. It will be hot and you wil sweat.
No one will judge you; there is no reason to be self conscious.Peoples’ focus is on themselves they are working too hard on their practice & meditation, to notice the students around them.
