Flow Into Stillness

With Erica Marmai at Shadwell Studio, Leeds

A 90-minute journey from mindful movement into Yin and deep rest

Enhanced with gentle acupressure, calming aromatherapy oils and the soothing sounds of Koshi wind chimes, leaving you feeling grounded, restored, and deeply relaxed.

Here's what your evening has in store...

The class will begin by connecting breath with fluid, mindful movement, gradually building a flowing sequence that creates warmth, mobility, and presence in the body.

As the practice unfolds, we'll gently slow the pace, bringing you down to the floor for a nourishing Yin practice that invites spaciousness into the myofascial tissues, helping to release tension while calming the nervous system.

Supported by props, you'll be encouraged to soften, unwind, and simply be.

Every class concludes with an extended Savasana, enhanced with gentle acupressure, calming aromatherapy oils and, at times, the soothing sounds of Koshi wind chimes, leaving you feeling grounded, restored, and deeply relaxed.

Suitable for all levels, this class is an invitation to slow down, breathe more freely, and reconnect with yourself at the end of a busy day or week.

““There is such a warm & friendly vibe and a fantastic timetable of yoga & Pilates to accommodate everyone. Classes range from chilled Hatha & sleepy Nidra to strong vinyasa flows & hot yoga. Everyone is made welcome & all skills and abilities are supported, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced yogi. It’s such a ‘feel-good’ place - I always leave feeling better in both mind & body.

— Rachel

Shadwell Studio has become my home from home - a male the wrong side of 50 and I was made so welcome - the owner Charlotte and all her team of yoga teachers treat you like family. Age and ability is not problem - it is a journey and there is no better place to start that journey. So glad I found the studio - I really believe it has changed my life.”
